Evidence that you are indeed a child of God


The Bible repeatedly declares that salvation belongs to those who continually KEEP ON trusting in the son of God and don’t stop.
Scripture tells us that if we are a child of God we live and walk according to the obedience to God’s Word, His Voice, The Inward Witness within a True believer. John 5:10-13 “Those who keep trusting in the son of God have this witness in them,” and live according to it.

In Romans 8:1-13, Paul addresses the fact that even if you receive the Spirit of God within you, if you continue on living your life according to the old nature, setting your focus on the humanistic nature, which is hostile to God and does not submit to His commands: Once you’ve received the new spirit, if you continue in these old ways, YOU WILL CERTAINLY DIE_ Plain and simple, black and white text.

What is one way to KNOW that you indeed are a legitimate child of God?
Rom 8:14 clearly states, “Those who are led (present tense in continuance) by God’s spirit within them, ARE God’s children.” According to THE WORD, the evidence of currently being a child of God, is living life moment by moment, listening for and obeying the inward witness.

Rom. 8:16 – “The spirit himself bears witness with our own spirits that we are children of God and if we are children of God then we are also heirs of God and joint heirs with the Messiah” _ Most “Christians” in the religion of American “Churchianity” stop there, leaving the scripture out of context, but if you continue on reading, it clearly says, “... that is, IF we are suffering with Him in order also to be glorified with Him.” If you are not suffering with him, you are lacking that which identifies you with him as His child.

If you are a Child of God, like Christ, Following after his footsteps, you would be suffering like Him. Why did Christ suffer? Because he brought truth; truth that drew a line diving white and black, truth from lie, light from the darkness lieing within the hearts of those who heard the light. The truth offends those who lift themselves up. The truth Christ brought humbled all who heard, stripping them of their own ability to attain right standing and honor. NOT in the eyes of man, which most desire, but in the eyes of GOD whom will not glorify your humility before man until the end.

Now that we’ve established that you must be living according to the voice of the inward witness, the spirit of God within you, throughout your daily decision making and focus as you walk this earth, in order to prove that you indeed are a child of God…

How do we KNOW if it’s our voice and thoughts vs. HIS, the inward witness and Spirit of God, which we are to be following, if we are to be considered a child of God? How do you follow and obey this voice quickly in a moment by moment daily decision making context? What does it sound like, and how can you be sure it is him and His desire for you, not your own?
